Football surfaces have improved dramatically with the introduction of 3rd generation long pile carpets and are now being endorsed by the world governing body FIFA, recognising the role synthetic pitches have to play within the sport. Football surfaces are now the most advanced of their kind.

Rugby
With the change in Rugby from amateur to professional status, there is now significant investment in quality training facilities.
